Mexican police continue to identify man found dismembered in canal
Police turn to Baja California and U.S. authorities to locate the relatives
SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY) - Sonoran police work with Baja California and U.S. officials to identify the dismembered body of a man found in a canal last week in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora.

Tribuna de San Luis reports the body of a man was found floating in a canal last Tuesday, missing a head and hand. Police said they found the victim's head and other human remains in a plastic bag near the cemetery the next day.

The victim was found wearing black clothing, black shoes with both arms and legs wrapped in plastic. The victim has a tattoo on his right thigh, but police say they still can't ID him. They continue to work with neighboring cities to locate the relatives.
