Dismembered body found in canal
The body was found without a head and hand
SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY) - Police found a decapitated body floating in the Mesa Arenosa canal in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Tuesday morning.
Tribuna de San Luis reported residents of the Aviación 2 and Topahue colonies said the body was floating along the vicinity of the pedestrian bridge located at the height of San Emeterio Street.
The Attorney's General Office collected the evidence and extracted the corpse to the funeral home. Police said they will continue to identify the victim and investigate.
