Yuma County up five new cases
Total now at 67
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma County District Health Services (YCDHS) confirm five new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the total number of cases up to 67.
Health officials aren't releasing any personal information on the newest patients. However, the latest statistics indicate two are females, and three are males.
YCDHS has also added an "Under 20" age category, and has expanded the overall age ranges.
It is now clear to see the category with the highest number of infections in Yuma County are people aged 20-44, a relatively young demographic.
YCDHS says there still currently 12 people hospitalized with the virus.

Arizona currently has 6,716 cases of coronavirus. The illness has killed 275 people across the state, including one person in Yuma County.
