President Biden returns to the White House on Monday
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - President Biden spent the day in Delaware before heading back to the White House on Monday.
The President started the day at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and then he was later seen heading to his motorcade after lunch, stopping briefing to speak with reporters.
Last week the President met with House Democrats on Capitol Hill to discuss his political agenda.
He has made clear that he wants to keep both the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the reconciliation bill linked together and he remains optimistic that there can be an agreement.
A vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill was set to take place on Thursday, but was delayed indefinitely as lawmakers continue to try to come up with a deal on Biden's larger reconciliation package.
