US airlines expected to make a profit following pandemic

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Airlines have seen losses in the past couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic but now they're expected to make profits.

With the travel mask mandate now lifted, many will be ready to go back on airplanes again.

United and American Airlines are looking to bring in more revenue in the second quarter of 2022.
