(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - The popular alcoholic beverage has its own National Day on April 7.

Beer is one of the most popular drinks in the world coming behind water and tea.

Beer has a possible date going back as early as 9,500 B.C. which makes it as old as cereal.

There are many ways to have the beverage such as with light beer, lager, Bellgian, porter and ale.
