Blue Origin takes five people to space

(KYMA, KECY/CBS) - The 'Blue Origin' rocket sent five people to space on Thursday, March 31.

Five tourists were offered to ride Jeff Bezos' spacecraft at a very high price but for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

As soon as we got above 100-thousand feet and saw the sky getting darker and when it turned to pitch black, it was just gorgeous," said Space Tourist George Nield.

Among the group of people was an investor, a real estate veteran plus his wife, a university professor, an entrepreneur and the spacecraft's designer.

"It was intense and I did get a little bit of a feeling of vertigo. I did feel a little bit of nausea," said the Spacecraft's designer Gary Lai.
