Fatal fire kills three people in Mexicali
MEXICALI, B.C. (KYMA, KECY) - Three people lost their lives in a fatal fire in Mexicali.
The incident happened around 4 a.m.
An 80-year-old woman, a 55-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were inside the house.
Two more teenagers suffer burns on their hands and respiratory system.
Both are been treated at the general hospital.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
"I would like to say that the people were not calcinated it appears it was a issue of suffocation that lead to this incident and the unfortunate loss of these 3 people," said Ruben Osuna, Mexicali Fire Chief.
The family of the three people is still looking for answers to know the cause of the fire.
