Local business holds ribbon-cutting ceremony
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local business held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of its grand opening.
The ceremony took place at Modern Skn, located in the area of S. 4th Avenue and W. 25th Street, at 1:00pm Sunday.
Modern Skn is a beauty salon where customers can get their eyebrows, eyelashes and other parts of the body waxed.
For Rachel Canelo, the owner and operator of Modern Skn, she expressed her thanks to those who attended while also sharing the salon's bright future.
"I am honored and just in awe of the support. We finally hit a year in operation. I'm super excited for what's to come...Modern Skn continues to grow and will continue to expand, and this is just the beginning," Canelo spoke.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the attendees toured the inside of the salon, took pictures with Canelo, had food and beverages like cupcakes and wine, and got to know one another.
