Ceremony at the Museum of History in Granite

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA/KECY) - The Museum of the History of Granite held a ceremony Friday.

A dedication of the granite "Oceans" monument was presented as a reminder of what was once believed to be boundless seas.

The concept is exemplified by the United Nations flag.

With 37 guests in attendance, members of the Coast Guard and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma were also a part of the event.

Awards were presented by Senator Ben Hueso.
