Imperial Valley Economic and Energy Summit takes place at Imperial Valley College

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - This year, the Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation hosted its annual summit with panelists talking about lithium, solar, geothermal, transmission, and clean transportation.

A listening session was also led by California Forward to prepare for the next upcoming California Economic Summit in October 2023 which will be centered on Imperial and Coachella Valley.

The event is sponsored this year by ORMAT Technologies.

Guests, community members, and local organizations were invited the evening before the summit to a dinner reception for networking and a press conference at Chabella’s in Brawley.

The Economic and Energy Summit is currently in the process of the conference and there will be more updates to come.
