Execution arranged for inmate Clarence Dixon

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry will follow through with the execution of inmate Clarence W. Dixon on May 11.

The execution is in accordance with the Arizona Supreme Court's Warrant of Execution administered on April 5.

Dixon was convicted of the 1978 murder of 21-year-old Arizona State University student Deana Bowdoin in 2008.

The execution is scheduled for 10 a.m. at ASPC-Florence.
