Bodybuilders compete in the Muscle Beach Championship
LOS ANGELES (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - If you needed a little "lift" on Labor Day, Venice was the place to be.
The Muscle Beach Championship competition took over the beach on Monday.
The annual competition includes categories like bodybuilding, bikini, physique, and vintage swimsuit.
Organizers also welcomed the event's first-ever transgender athlete and and the first Down Syndrome athlete.
