Twitter reinstates some jouranlists

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (CNN) - Days after they were suspended by twitter, several journalists have now had their accounts reinstated by the social media platform.

It was Thursday that Twitter made the move to suspend certain accounts.

It also came after owner Elon Musk had falsely claimed some reporters had shared his "exact real-time" location.

The controversy involved the reporting of a competing social media service that hosted a private jet tracking account following the location of Musk's plane.

To many critics, Musk's action called into question his commitment to free speech.
