FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Strong gusts expected to arrive as temps start to increase

Warmer conditions are on the way, but so are increasing gusts for the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Well below normal temperatures will persist across the region through the rest of this week.

Expect breezy to locally windy conditions across portions of southeast California and southwest AZ.

A very gradual warming trend is likely this weekend into early next week.
