Fight between two men leads to stabbing
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yesterday afternoon, a fight between two men in the Crossroads Mission area escalated into a stabbing.
Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) deputies say they found a man who was stabbed nine times when they arrived.
He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center and is now in stable condition.
YCSO says the other man was taken to Horizon Health and Wellness, a local psychiatric facility.
It is unknown if the men were Mission residents but they were in the area for food at the time.
No arrests have been made so far but this is an ongoing investigation so if you have any information on this case, call YCSO or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
