Suspect in Las Vegas stabbing returns in court
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (NBC) - The man accused of killing two people and injuring six others in an unprovoked attack on the Las Vegas Strip last week returned to court on Tuesday.
32-year-old Yoni Barrios is charged with two counts of murder and six counts of attempted murder.
A judge Tuesday ordered him to continue to remain in jail without bail.
Barrios' assigned attorney said there are concerns about whether or not his client is competent.
He said a mental evaluation will be conducted before moving forward.
