Man accused of allegedly defrauding victims offered plea deal

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The man accused of allegedly defrauding victims out of hundreds-of-thousands of dollars will be offered a plea deal.

29-year-old Andres Fernandez is accused of allegedly defrauding several victims of cash and cryptocurrency in a fake business start-up scheme.

Fernandez has been charged with a total of nine counts of fraudulent schemes. Three counts of money laundering and also theft between two cases.

The state informed the court that a plea offer has been sent to the defense for review.
