Calexico Police looking for second suspect in homicide
Calexico Police need the publics help to find the second suspect that was involved in a stabbing homicide Saturday morning
CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - On Saturday, September 24 around five in the morning, the Calexico police officers found a man with two stab wounds in the 100 block of Rockwood Avenue.
One suspect was arrested and police are still searching for a second suspect who they believe stabbed and killed a man.
The man was identified as Martin Flores Ceniceros, 38, sustained stab wounds to the neck and right arm.
“We believe it was just a verbal altercation that occurred earlier that day in the morning and it escalated and it turned into them getting into a physical altercation and of these suspects produced a knife stabbing our victim," said Sergeant Manuel Ceja.
Ceniceros was transported to a hospital in San Diego where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
