President Biden to release oil reserves to combat high gas prices
(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - President Joe Biden announced that he will release a large amount of crude oil to help with the recent spikes in gas prices.
Your family budgets to fill a tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war," said President Biden.
He said he will release one million barrels a day from a reserve to combat high gas prices and to pressure oil companies.
"This is the time to step up for the good of your country, for the good of the world.. to invest in immediate production that we need to respond to Vladimir Putin," continued Biden.
These high prices are following Russia's attack on Ukraine where prices reached a record high average of $4.33.
