Stained glass motif for upcoming event

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Art Center's deadline for original pieces will end on December 15th, which will be used for their 2022 dinner theater production.

The Parks, Arts and Recreation Commission will choose an artist who will design and create stained glass windows, they can be duplicates or complementary and may have similar appearances.

Both pieces will be available for auction after the theater production.

“This is a great opportunity for a local artist to create something beautiful for hundreds of people to enjoy, and to further support the art community in next year’s Tribute to the Muses auction,” stated Parks and Recreation Director Jason Nau. “Our community is extremely vibrant and loaded with many talented people.”

The selected pieces must be ready for installation by February 1, 2022.
