Border Patrol seize Kettlebell meth packages in Calexico

El Centro Border Patrol Sector agents seize kettlebell narcotics packages

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Border Patrol agents in Calexico found four packages on the ground about one mile east of the Calexico west port of entry.

The packages contained methamphetamine with a total weight of 4.10 pounds and an estimated value of $11,275.

The second incident occurred on Thursday. A Calexico Border Patrol agent was informed by a Mexican police officer that he had just apprehended a man throwing an object over the border wall into the United States.

The agent discovered two kettlebells containing .79 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated value $2,172.

All narcotic packages were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
