Covid-19 cases showing large increase in children

(KYMA, KECY/NBC News) - The number of new infections of Covid-19 in children continues to increase in large numbers, with over 88,000 reported just last week.

Experts say children represented 20.6% of the new weekly cases, but represented over 13% of all cases in the world.

As of April 15th, over 3.6 million children have tested positive since the pandemic began.
