YPD looking for hit and run suspect

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is looking for a driver suspected of hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene of a crash.

Police say the crash happened 4:50 a.m. Wednesday morning, in the block of 800 block of W. 32nd Street.

When police arrived at the scene, it found a 34-year-old man who was struck by an SUV that fled the scene. The man was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment. 

YPD continues to investigate the incident.
