San Diego County reopens with safety modifications
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY)-San Diego County announces the reopening of campgrounds, aquariums, gyms, hotels, and bars starting this week.
On Tuesday, June 9, camps, campgrounds, and RV parks can reopen at midnight, according to CBS 8 News.
Piers and boardwalks have been reopened today. Balboa Park is set to open Friday at 100% capacity. However, county officials urge people to still practice social distancing, strong hygiene habits, and remain patient.Â
Reports say on Friday, June 12, provided they abide by county safety plans and standards: schools, television and movie production, professional sports without fans, bars and wineries, hotels, Airbnbs, gyms, swimming pools, aquariums, and zoos.Â
Still prohibited in this stage of reopening: nail salons, massage parlors, facial services, concerts, movie theaters, tattoo parlors.
Some of the biggest attractions such as Legoland and Seaworld are scheduled to reopen on July 1.
