Crane School District nutrition services employee tests positive for coronavirus
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)-Crane Elementary School District says a nutrition services employee tested positive for the coronavirus.
The employee's last day of work was May 26.
District supervisors say they have notified individuals who came into contact with the employee within the last two weeks.
Notified employees were asked to self-quarantine for the next 14 days and were recommended to get tested.
"We prioritize the health and wellbeing of our employees and will continue to take necessary sanitation precautions in order to maintain a safe working environment. As an additional precautionary measure, Ronald Reagan Elementary School will be closed as a meal site for the Summer Meal Program."
