HYDER, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- A 19-year-old man from Scottsdale, Ariz., is dead after a single-vehicle collision early Sunday morning.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) said the 2001 Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound on Hyder Road at a high rate of speed.

YCSO said the driver failed to exit the south side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll over at least twice, ejecting all occupants from the vehicle.

Reports said the 19-year-old passenger, identified as Logan Blissit, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and three other passengers were airlifted to Phoenix hospital with serious injuries.

The family has been notified and the case is pending further investigation.

According to YCSO, alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in the accident.

Anyone with information regarding this case, please contact the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at 928-783-4427 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
