Recall: Avoid romaine lettuce from Salinas, CA

MGN

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - Health officials are warning of an E.Coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce harvested in Salinas, California.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently investigating the outbreak, which they say has affected at least 40 people in over a dozen states.

The FDA says investigation has led to farms in Salinas, and they are still in search of the direct source.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) advises that consumers avoid all romaine lettuce grown in Salinas, and if you're not sure, do not eat it.
