Man arrested on parole violation in San Luis RCS

A Yuma man wanted by the United States was found hiding in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico after he was pulled over by Mexican authorities for speeding, Monday.

Upon being pulled over and verifying his name on the system, Mexican authorities discovered the suspect had a warrant for violating his parole in the U.S., reported Tribuna de San Luis.

Reports said after knowing the suspect’s legal status, Mexican authorities took him to the station to begin the process to transfer the suspect back to the U.S.

Tribuna de San Luis said the suspect was picked up by American authorities.
