Dealer pleads guilty to selling fentanyl-laced pills
A San Diego man pleads guilty to selling deadly fentanyl-laced pills.
Christopher James Stracuzzi entered that plea today in San Diego federal court.
Stracuzzi sold pills that were supposed to be oxycontin to a couple in July of 2018 . The pills were actually counterfeits containing fentanyl .
A man overdosed and died less than a half-hour after taking just one of the pills.
A judge will sentence Stracuzzi in December. He faces a minimum of 20-years in prison, and a maximum of life behind bars.
