AWC makes promise to future graduates

Good news for the Class of 2020! Earning your associate’s degree at Arizona Western College becomes even more affordable this spring.

On Monday AWC President, Dr. Daniel Corr, unveiled the college’s new Yuma Promise program.

It provides 100-percent out-of-pocket tuition and fees reimbursement for high school graduates, beginning with the class of 2020.

To qualify for the Promise program, students have to sign a commitment form, apply for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and enroll full-time at AWC .

Upon completion of their associates degree, students are required to transfer to one of the college’s state university partners (University of Arizona-Yuma, Arizona State University @ Yuma, or Northern Arizona University-Yuma.) They then become eligible for 100-percent reimbursement of their tuition and fees. Yuma Promise does not cover food, housing, or equipment.
