Spectacular light show in skies over Seattle
A storm brought a spectacular light show to the skies over Seattle Thursday night.
Cameras captured a bolt of lightning striking the city’s second tallest building, the Rainier Square Towers.
The National Weather Service said there were about a hundred strikes along the Washington coast.
Last weekend the state saw even more. The NWS has reports of up to 22-hundred lightning strikes.
Thousands of people lost power during that storm.
