3.9 earthquake strikes Riverside County

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake has struck in the Riverside County area, Tuesday.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake was reported at 1:21 p.m. about a mile east from Wildomar and four miles northwest of Murrieta.

FOX 11 News said there were no immediate reports of damage.

According to FOX 11, there are many variables involved, damage does not usually occur until the earthquake magnitude reaches somewhere above 4 or 5.
