Mexican authorities find over $40 million in drugs

Police found over 600 pounds of methamphetamine in a home in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico., Tuesday.

Tribuna de San Luis said that Mexican authorities patrolled a neighborhood where they knew drugs were being kept in.

Reports show authorities secured the property pending a court order issued by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to enter and do the search.

Authorities said they found over 600 pounds of methamphetamine in one of the rooms of the residence and a vehicle that was inside the property.

Reports said that authorities seized the drugs and vehicle for further investigation.

According to Tribuna de San Luis, the drugs are approximately worth over $40 million dollars.
