Verdict reached in Quintero murder trial
The verdict is in for Oscar Quintero, the man who murdered the mother of his children and shot her co-worker.
The jury found Quintero guilty of premeditated first-degree murder per domestic violence, attempted first-degree murder and three charges of aggravated assault.
State of Arizona prosecutors said the murder was premeditated throughout the trial and detailed several events that led up to the bloody night at the Somerton Valley Center.

Medina’s sister claims Medina was cooking carne asada with her. Quintero claims he and Medina met up at the park. January 3, 2018:
(approx. 6:30 p.m.) Quintero is seen on security footage looking through windows of Family Dollar searching for Medina.
(approx. 8:00 p.m.) Quintero heads Somerton Valley Center Medina texts Stephanie: “Oscar is blowing up my phone” (approx. 8:30): Oscar confronts Medina and the other victim. Quintero shoots the male victim in the face. Clarissa calls 911. Quintero shoots Clarissa.
