El Centro officers discover meth in child seat during traffic stop
El Centro officers conducted a traffic stop Wednesday, which led to the discovery of meth in the car, including a child seat.
Officers said they stopped a woman who was driving a white 2018 Honda Civic around Dogwood and Main Street. The woman driver was identified as a 29-year-old resident of El Centro.
At the scene officers searched the vehicle and said they found about 23-pounds of what they believed to be meth. The meth was concealed in multiple packages, in multiple areas of the vehicle, which included a child safety seat.
The woman was arrested and booked at Imperial County Jail.
