Annual flag raising ceremony honors past and present military
The Caballeros de Yuma hosted it’s annual Fourth of July Flag Raising ceremony on Thursday morning at the Armed Services Park in Yuma.
The festivities kicked off at 7:30 a.m. and a huge crowd decked wearing the colors red, white, and blue to show off their patriotism.
Members of the military and local community gathered to watch the stars and stripes being raised as the National Anthem played.
Decorated veterans also served as guest speakers at the event.
