Pet Talk: Meet Tie and Arlo
For this week’s Pet Talk, we meet a cat who is easy to love and a dog who just wants to run and play
Both pets are currently up for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma.
First is Tie, a 14-year-old tortoise kitty who has been at the shelter for several weeks now.
Tie is slow to warm up to being petted, but the second you find her sweet spot on his back, she practically begs for more.
Tie is on the older side which makes her a kitty that deserves to live out the rest of her life in a home committed to giving him the love she deserves.
And Arlo, we have featured Arlo on pet talk before, but he needs a little more help getting into a home.
Arlo has been at the shelter for a while now, but is the perfect home as summer is just around the corner,
Arlo loves the water and loves to run and play with tennis balls.
Perfect for swimming in the lake or long mountain hikes.
Arlo has a beautiful honey colored coat with bright sunny eyes.
Arlo is a strong dog and has a tendency to jump up.
However, this does not mean he can’t be trained not to.
The shelter suggests a meet and greet with any other pets but has gotten along great with other dogs.
Both animals are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma.
They are open Tuesday through Sunday and their number is 928-782-1621
Because Arlo has been at the shelter for more than 30 days, he is eligible for 50% off his adoption fee as part of the lonely hearts campaign.
