YRMC lifts flu-season visitor restrictions

Yuma Regional Medical Center lifted its flu-season visitor restrictions Tuesday.

YRMC officials said people under the age of 16 are are now permitted in patient care and waiting areas at the hospital’s main campus, Outpatient Center, and Cancer Center.

Visitor restrictions were set in late December with the goal of protecting patients, families, and staff from unnecessary exposure to the flu virus.
