One woman behind bars after shots fired

One Yuma woman is behind bars after shots were fired during a domestic disturbance in one Yuma neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

What started as an argument led to a gun being pulled and a single shot fired, according to Lieutenant Legros, Yuma Police Department.

Yuma Police responded to the scene near 37th Lane and Victoria Way and said no one was injured. They added the bullet only hit a cabinet.

The 46-year old woman is behind bars and facing charges of aggravated assault and attempted homicide, according to YPD.
