5 hospitalized in sedan versus off-road vehicle crash

Five people were hospitalized after being involved in a sedan versus off-road vehicle crash at Avenue 12E and Highway 95 Thursday afternoon.

According to Rural Metro Fire Department, a call was made at 3:20 p.m. regarding reports of a two-vehicle accident.

Authorities said six people were involved in the incident. One refused treatment and five were transported to a local hospital.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour and is now open.
