Pet Talk: Meet Tipsy and Kitty
Today we get to meet a very special cat and a very special dog.
A cat that refuses to let his size speak to his personality and a dog that refuses to let a deformity take away from her love for life.
This sweet cat came in as a stray to the Humane Society.
Only being at the shelter for about a week now, this cat has made a great impression with its other friends in the community room.
With a purr like a lawn mower, you know this cat is ready and willing to be loved.
Not yet named, this kitty is perfect for a family ready to add spunk to the house.
This cat was like a ragdoll when picked up and loved to be cuddled in the safety of warm arms.
And Tipsy, truly a princess when it comes to her fellow crate mates.
Tipsy is special.
Tipsy is considered a special needs dog…whose brain stem never finished forming.
However, this deformity does not stop her from being a fully rambunctious and playful puppy.
Hence, her adorable floppy run and tumbling skills.
Tipsy, needs to be in a family with older children, and in a family where she is the only dog in the house because of her condition.
Though an owner would be able to be patient with her cute clumsiness, dogs would have a hard time understanding the behavior.
Tipsy is ready for a special family to take on such a special pup.
Both pets are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma, open Tuesday through Sunday.
Their number is 928-782-1621.
