Man accused of flashing knife at student causes scene in courtroom

The man accused of flashing a knife at a student on Wednesday made his second appearance at the Y uma Justice Court Friday afternoon.

Christopher Young, 24, is facing three charges that include aggravated assault.

Once Judge M anuel Guerrero read Young his charges and told him he would be appointed a public defender, Young caused a scene leading him to be kicked out of the courtroom.

“None of these [explicit] charges are, none of these charges are even true,” Young.

Young was arrested after P almcroft Elementary School was placed on a lockdown Wednesday .

Judge Guerrero set Young’s bond at $150,000. He will be back in court next Friday .
