How you can achieve facial weight loss
If you are looking to shed some weight, it may not only be from your waistline.
Doctors say there are plenty of ways to lose a chubby face and Nutritionist Errin Gussler has some helpful tips.
“Massaging it helps to pull it back into that full system,” said Gussler.
Gussler also says some helpful tips for losing weight on your face is to give it a good massage with your hands or a jade roller, found at many cosmetic stores.
“Your lymphatic system is a fluid system that helps to ideally clear toxins, clear viruses, clear things out of your system and you have lymphatic points in your face. So massaging the face would help to pull fluid into that full lymphatic system,” said Gussler.
Another tip given to patients is a healthy diet and exercise. Gussler says sometimes the food we consume plays a big factor as well, and so he encourages diets that specialize in just that.
“Often I recommend doing an Elimination Diet. It’s something like a whole 30 or paleo trial. Those are really great ways to see if there are foods that are causing inflammation,” said Gussler.
