Woman who murdered her son dies before trial
The Arizona woman who allegedly shot and killed her son has died before heading to trial, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
The MCAO said the 93-year-old woman allegedly shot and killed her 72-year-old son after he wanted to put her in assisted living.
The woman also turned the gun on his girlfriend and scuffled with her until deputies arrived in July of 2018 when the incident happened, according to the MCAO.
The MCAO said they have dismissed their charge against the woman because of her death.
