Collision involving two vehicles in Somerton
Two vehicles were involved in a collision in the intersection of County 14 and Avenue G Sunday night, according to the Somerton Cocopah Fire Department.
Personnel responded at about 8:44 p.m. and found a Ford Expedition and Toyota Camry in a t-bone type accident with severe damage.
SCFD said the driver of the Camry complained of back and shoulder pain and was later transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
The Expedition had three teenage occupants, according to SCFD.
None of the teenagers reported any injuries but were transported to YRMC due to being minors.
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
