The Yuma Police Department responded to the scene of a suspected shooting on San Gabriel Drive and Pacific Avenue.

Visible damage was seen on the window of a home in the area.

Three people were inside the home when shots flew into their window, according to Yuma Police.

“I heard two or three gunshots first. I woke up. I woke up my boyfriend. What he thought it was. He just said fireworks. It didn’t sound like fireworks,” said Jeneane.

Another resident who lives a couple homes away and works at The Barbershop behind the scene explained her initial reaction.

“It was very frightening. I didn’t know what the initial reaction should be, whether to grab my gun, my child, grab my dogs,” said Zuleika Hernandez.

YPD said no injuries have been reported and no suspects are behind bars.
