Celebrate Christmas on the Colorado
The first annual Christmas on the Colorado event is happening Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Colorado River State Historic Park.
There will be pictures with S anta , decorating Christmas ornaments, face painting, hot chocolate and cookies, and train rides.
At dusk, The Polar Express movie will begin.
Tickets are $5 for ages 13 and up which will include admission and the movie.
Food and drinks will be available for separate purchase.
The community is encouraged to bring blankets, a chair, and a picnic dinner.
Sarah Halligan, communications specialist for the Heritage Area says this event was created to bring Christmas to Yuma in case families can’t travel to celebrate the holiday.
