90 packages of meth seized in Dome Valley

Ninety packages of methamphetamine worth $196,020 were seized near Dome Valley Friday morning, according to Customs and Border Protection.

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents said they arrested the driver, a permanent resident of Mexico, for transportation of a controlled substance after the vehicle was stopped and a canine sniffed out the drugs.

Agents said they came across the driver around 7:54 a.m. near Avenue 16E and County 4th Street.
