Local mother loses baby girl to perinatal loss
More than thirty-three thousand women in the United States have lost their baby to perinatal birth.
Perinatal birth is commonly known as two different things which are:
Neonatal death
Death before 28-days of life that are commonly caused due to prematurity or birth defects. Elective Abortion
A voluntary termination of pregnancy, whether or not the fetus is visible. Local mother, Viri Altamirano, lost her baby girl six years ago and said that she now has the strength to speak about her experience.
There will be ‘A Walk to Remember’ event held Saturday, November, 3, to honor the babies who lost their lives due to perinatal birth, beginning at 3 p.m.
